Granite Ridge Builders

Granite Ridge Builders is a Fort Wayne custom home builder serving northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. It was started by Tony Reincke, a third-generation Fort Wayne native who sold homes as a Realtor before he began building them, and it has been BBB-accredited since 1998 with an A+ rating. In December 2021, Fort Wayne Business Weekly ranked it the region's largest homebuilder: it led all area builders with 246 permits in the first nine months of that year.

The builder's catalog lists 215 floor plans, from the 1,113 sq ft one-story Wildwood to luxury designs such as the 4,593 sq ft Obsidian, and its drafting team can modify any plan or draw a new one. It builds single-family homes and villas in 36 communities listed on its site, 19 of them Granite Ridge exclusives, and also builds on buyers' own land and lake lots. Base prices aren't published and exclude the lot, site development and options; on October 8, 2026, its available homes started at $299,900, and The Monaco, a 9,326 sq ft luxury model in Huntertown, was listed at $4,000,000.

Construction usually takes six to eight months once it starts. Buyers make selections with a Design Coordinator at the 15,000 sq ft Design Center on Woodland Plaza Run, follow the build in Buildertrend, and get a project manager who inspects the home on top of the required building department inspections. Homes are covered by a 10-year new home warranty from Residential Warranty Company (RWC) on major structural components, plus the builder's 2-year workmanship and 4-year roof warranties.
